The Jake Davis State Farm Agency is looking for a dependable, relationship-focused Customer Service Representative to support our existing customers and help strengthen their overall insurance experience.
This position is primarily service-driven, with an added focus on identifying opportunities within the current book of business. You’ll assist customers with policy questions, account updates, claims-related needs, and general service requests while also looking for coverage gaps and recommending additional products when appropriate.
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable building relationships, asking thoughtful questions, and balancing excellent customer service with monthly in-book sales expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for existing customers
- Answer questions and explain policy, billing, and coverage information clearly
- Process policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and account updates
- Assist customers with claims questions and follow-up
- Review customer accounts and help ensure coverage remains up to date
- Identify potential coverage gaps and additional insurance needs
- Introduce relevant products through needs-based conversations
- Work toward established monthly in-book sales and retention goals
- Maintain accurate notes and documentation for customer interactions
- Partner with the rest of the agency team to provide a consistent customer experience
What We’re Looking For
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Clear, professional communication by phone, email, and in person
- Ability to listen, ask questions, and make appropriate recommendations
- Comfortable working toward measurable service and sales goals
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities throughout the day
- Previous customer service, insurance, account management, or sales experience is preferred
Licensing Requirements
Insurance licensing is required for this position.
- Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to Day 1
- Life & Health license must be obtained within 30 days of starting
Licensing guidance and support will be available to help qualified candidates complete the process.
